Chain Letters
Make-A-Wish Foundation® Does Not Participate In Chain Letters Or Other Direct Solicitation Wishes

Each day, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and chapters receive hundreds of inquiries regarding
chain letters claiming to be associated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. As a matter of policy, the Make-A-Wish
Foundation does not conduct these types of wishes, including Internet and e-mail requests, phone solicitations,
and/or telemarketing such as door-to-door solicitation. All funds should be sent to the Make-A-Wish Foundation
of the Mid-South headquarters in Memphis, TN.

If you receive a chain letter claiming to be associated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, please do not forward
the chain letter. You do have the following options. You can reply to the sender and inform them that the Make-A-Wish Foundation does not participate in these kinds of wishes or you can refer the sender to the Make-A-Wish of America
website detailing information about chain letters at: http://wish.org/about/chain_letters

The time and expense required to respond to these inquiries distracts the Foundation from its efforts on behalf of children with life-threatening medical conditions, and more importantly, divulges information that is potentially harmful to a child and his or her family.

If you or your company would like to become involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South, please contact us at 901-680-9474 (Toll Free 800-264-9474), or e-mail us at midsouth@midsouthwish.org.
