Mid-South Chapter Giving Guide
We need your help to ensure that every medically eligible child referred can share the power of a wish^®. Often times there are costs associated with a child's wish that exceed the Wish Sponsor level, requiring the need for additional funding. Wishes requiring travel are one of the highest expenses the Foundation incurs, creating the need for additional wish supporters. Please click here to view the

Be a Wish Sponsor
Make-A-Wish appreciates the monetary support of corporations and organizations. Whether you’d like to be personally involved in the granting of a wish or would just like to donate funds, your support goes towards granting the wish of a future child. The average cost of a wish is $5,000.  For more information, please contact Casey Tansey for TN/MS or Carissa Wagnon for Arkansas.

In-Kind Donations
Every non-profit needs money, but there are many other goods and services that we require on a regular basis. Examples are printing, audio-visual set-ups, catering, flowers, gifts for children and teenagers, toys, office materials, and so on. If your company or business would be willing to donate a tax-deductible item to Make-A-Wish, just let us know! Please contact Debbie Keenum on ways you can help.

Payroll Deduction
You may designate Make-A-Wish in any workplace giving campaign.  Find out how....

Scheduled Giving
Through electronic transfer, the Foundation can receive regular donations directly from your bank account or credit card. What an easy, convenient, and confidential way to support your local chapter!  For more information...

Donate Your Frequent Flier Miles
Thanks to the incredible generosity of community members, the Make-A-Wish Foundation was able to grant thousands of travel wishes last year. Frequent flier miles donated hundreds of millions of miles to fulfill travel wishes. The National office estimates that more than one billion frequent flier miles will be needed to grant each child's travel wish this year. Please consider donating miles - you can help make wishes come true.  Donate your miles now.

Establish a Legacy Gift to the Endowment Fund
Make-A-Wish staff will be delighted to help establish your legacy gifts, year-round. We work with reputable established financial institutions that can assist in the creation of bequests, charitable remainder trusts, annuities, memorials, and endowment gifts.  For more information about planned giving, please contact Liz Larkin.

Wishmakers At Work
Your company can share the power of a wish™ by raising funds to sponsor the wish of a child. Programs and ideas to help you achieve this goal are:
  -  Employee initiated giving through payroll deductions 
  -  Special Events 
  -  Corporate Support 
  -  Put Make-A-Wish on your payroll 
  -  Consider Wishmakers at Work -- You'd be in good company!

Employer-Matching Funds
Many companies will match your donations, sometimes even two-to-one or more! Ask your human resources or personnel department for information on the matching fund program.         For more information....

Host a Special Event or Fundraiser
Perhaps the most fun way to raise money for a good cause! Simply contact the Development Department and give us the specifics. We will provide the necessary forms, balloons, and other support for your special event.  Want to plan an event to benefit the Mid-South chapter, please contact Special Events Coordinator Brooke Ehrhart.

 Donate your Car or Boat
Thinking of selling or even junking your old car, RV, or boat?  Why not donate it to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-South?  Current registration is not required and free towing is available.  For more information, please contact Liz Larkin.
